A private channel for a personal media server
SolarPlexus is a Roku app built for one family's own Plex server. It isn't a streaming service, it doesn't host anything, and it doesn't sell anything.

Almost nothing leaves your device
Short, because there isn't much to say. Here is everything the app touches.
- →Your sign-in token from PlexStored on the device so you don't have to sign in every time.
- →Your app preferencesColour theme and which rows you've chosen to show or hide.
- →Titles you requestIf you ask for something that isn't in the library, the title and your Plex username are sent to the server owner privately, so he knows who asked and for what.
- →What you watchHandled by Plex Media Server itself, exactly as it is in the official Plex app. The server owner can see play history for his own server.

Sign-in happens through Plex. SolarPlexus never sees or stores your password, and it doesn't create an account of its own.
The app is a private, non-commercial project shared with family and friends. It carries no advertising and no analytics SDKs.

The short version: it's someone's home server
Using the SolarPlexus channel means agreeing to the following.
SolarPlexus is a private Roku channel for a single, personally run Plex media server. It's free, non-commercial, and shared by invitation. It is not a streaming service and provides no content of its own — it only displays media that already exists on the owner's server.
Access is granted by the server owner and can be changed or withdrawn at any time, for any reason. Don't share your sign-in or the channel code with anyone it wasn't given to.
This runs on home hardware and a home internet connection. It will go offline sometimes — for updates, power cuts, or no reason at all. There's no uptime guarantee and no obligation to provide support or keep the channel running.
Don't rebroadcast, re-record, or redistribute anything you watch through the channel. Don't try to access the server by means other than the app.
The channel is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. You use it at your own risk. The developer isn't liable for any damages, data loss, or interruption arising from its use.
SolarPlexus is an independent personal project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Plex Inc. or Roku Inc.
These terms may change. Continuing to use the channel after a change means accepting the current version.
